Quintelligence d.o.o. is a company (SME) established in January 2001 as a part of a Technology Park Ljubljana, Slovenia. Quintelligence has been established with the mission of achieving knowledge transfer from the academic to the commercial world. In particular, the focus is to develop its own software solutions and/or to take over projects and solutions in their initial stages from academic worlds and transfer them into the working industrial strength modules available for marketing.
The main strength of the company is strong emphases on building solutions that can incorporate stat-of-the-art research achievements in data, text and Web mining, as well as link analysis (social network analysis). The company is well connected on national level and thus also contributes to dissemination in Slovenia. Director of Quintelligence is the main author of a well established Web service “Project Intelligence”, developed for analysis of European research space and offering a public service for browsing through the FP5 and FP6 IST projects.
